  • whether it’s on the 40 km of ski pistes of varying levels of difficulty, on Sulden’s high-altitude cross-country ski run or on the illuminated night-time toboggan run
  • or whether it’s on snowy footpaths or during romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides
Enjoy clear air, tranquillity or lively ski pistes that are sure to have snow from the end of November until the beginning of May.

We provide an extra room for your skiing equipment including boot dryers, so you can head for the piste with dry feet every day.

The free ski bus to the cable car and chair lifts stops right by the guesthouse, meaning you can leave your car in our partially covered parking area if you wish.

Culture & excursions

For lovers of culture, the Vinschgau Valley, which Sulden forms part of, is a real treasure trove of wonderful historical and artistic sites; we’d like to recommend a few:

Marienberg Monastery Marienberg Monastery
The highest Benedictine monastery in Europe at 1,340 metres above sea level is located above Burgeis in the Upper Vinschgau Valley.

Churburg Castle, Schluderns Churburg Castle, Schluderns
Following a walk through the narrow streets of the tiny medieval city of Glurns with its fully preserved city walls, round corner towers and three city gates, you will find yourself at Churburg Castle. One of the best-preserved castles in South Tyrol with the largest armoury.

Messner Mountain Museum Messner Mountain Museum
Museum with curiosities from the world of alpinism – well worth a visit…

Naturatrafoi Naturatrafoi
The exhibition in the building, which is located in Trafoi, is dedicated to the theme “Living at the limits”. It offers fascinating insights into the geology of the Ortler massif and into how animals and plants live and survive in the extreme climate high up in the mountains.

Aquaprad Aquaprad
Vivid insights are provided into life underwater. Visitors are immersed in the nearby and yet alien world of local fish.

Merano Merano
You can reach the spa town easily by train using the Vinschgau line in a journey lasting around an hour. As well as the beautiful promenade along the River Passer, you’ll find great shopping opportunities in the arcades and at the traditional Friday market. The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are often said to be the botanical highlight of South Tyrol.
